Decentralized data storage

Thought regarding the DigDeeper article: Let's solve the problem of data loss once and for all

There are already some decentralized "cloud" data storage services. I haven't tried any of them so far. One of them is "Cubbit".

Some videos by them:

Does someone here have experience with any of those services? Are they any good?

I rented out disk space on the Storj network ages ago so I should have some Storj somewhere from mining but I can't find it also its value didn't increase anyway. But there's that project.

Other projects I like are Beakr browser (there's still an active fork) that lets anyone host a website in a decentralized way, IPFS, and Zeronet.
